"We implore you, in Christ's name." —2 Corinthians 5:20

"Remember, man, that you are dust and to dust you shall return."

Remember, man, that God has made us "little less than the angels, and crowned" us "with glory and honor" (Ps 8:6).

Remember, man, that Jesus became man and transformed the human race.

Remember, man, that Jesus graces us to put on the new man, "one who grows in knowledge as he is formed anew in the image of his Creator" (Col 3:10).

Prayer:  Jesus, be Lord of my memory.

Promise:  "No one can see you are fasting but your Father Who is hidden; and your Father Who sees what is hidden will repay you." —Mt 6:18

Praise:  Samantha returned to Confession after not going for twenty years. She now receives Jesus daily in the Eucharist.
